The Rules of the Forum
Rule Number One
The most important rule, I think: be literate. Posts should be made up of at least 2 to 3 well-written paragraphs. Grammar is very important! If English is not your first language, it's understandable that your grammar might not be the greatest, but that's not an excuse to keep from capitalizing letters that need to be capitalized, or from using punctuations, etc....
Rule Number Two
Be kind to your fellow members! Out of character, at least. Don't start fights in the chatbox or on the forums! It makes everyone feel uncomfortable.
Rule Number Three
Make sure you check the character list thoroughly before you reserve a character! This is just to ensure that there aren't any conflicts with people trying to reserve someone who is already taken. And yes, you must reserve a character before posting an application. You'll have a week after reserving to post your application. OCs and Genderbends are both accepted, but their applications will be graded more strictly than canon character's.
Note: If you play a genderbent character, try to make them more than just a copy of the canon character. Tweak their personality a bit! Also, be a little creative with their names. No one wants a fem!South Italy called 'Lovina'.
Rule Number Four
You can have a second character, but you must have at least 30 in character posts before you can reserve them.
Rule Number Five
When you register, please don't use your character's name! Post your application under any other name, and after you are accepted you will be told to change it to your character's name.
Rule Number Six
Don't spam the forums or the chatbox, please. That's simple enough.
Rule Number Seven
When you finish a thread, make sure you mark it as [ Finished ] or [ Done ] or [ Closed ], etc.
Rule Number Eight
Make sure you read the laws of the world. I expect the 'three main beliefs' to be somewhere in your application.
Rule Number Nine
Make sure any mature threads, whether it be for sexual content or gore, are marked with an [ M ] or an [ R ].
Rule Number Ten
If you post out of character, use some sort of brackets to make it obvious. [ Like these ] or (( these )). Any sort of bracket works. This rule applies in the chatbox as well.
Rule Number Eleven
Try to stay active! Post at least once a week. If you go away for any reason, please post a hiatus so we know! Also, if you drop your character for any reason, please let us know.
Rule Number Twelve
Do not come into the forum or onto the chatbox while you're drunk. Not only is this an incredibly bad idea, but it makes other people feel uncomfortable.
Rule Number Thirteen
Anything that happens in the chatbox is not canon in the forum and vice versa.
Rule Number Fourteen
Last, but not least, you must be at least 16 years old to join this roleplay.
