The Laws

Unless you are a prostitute or someone with a permit to see said prostitutes, sex outside of a relationship is illegal. Even in a relationship, it is frowned upon if the couple are not married. In order to have children, the couple must be married, and they must obtain a permit from the Elite. Pregnancy without a permit is against the law. Birth control and condoms don't fail. There is no excuse for getting pregnant without a permit. A couple cannot have more than two children. Going over the limit is also illegal.

In order to start a relationship with someone, you need the permission of the Elite. All they ask is that you have known the person for at least a month. Asking permission is done through email, in which you must state the date you met and where it was. If you cannot do this, then the Elite don't believe you truly care for the other person.

Relationships don't always work out. It's not illegal to break up with the person you're seeing. However, after breaking up, the two people are not allowed to see anyone else for a certain period of time. The amount of time depends on how long you were a couple. The longer a relationship lasts, the less time you have to wait in between the next relationship. This is done to prevent one person from jumping from lover to lover very often. If a relationship ends, you're not allowed to date that person again.

To get married, a couple must have been together for at least a year and they must have lived in the same home together for at least six months. Asking permission to be married is also done through email, and a certificate will be sent back if the marriage is approved. It is up to the couple if they want to have a wedding or not.

There isn't a fuss over the type of people who start a relationship. A boy can be with a girl. A girl can be with another girl. A boy can be with another boy. In fact, the Elite approve more of homosexual pairings simply because they don't result in more children.

It is preferred if the Elite do not start relationships with anyone outside of the Elite, however if they truly believe they can trust someone outside, it is allowed.


The amount of money that a person makes depends on the amount of people in their family. The more people, the more money. All jobs are jobs provided by the Elite. There are no family-owned businesses. They still get to choose their own jobs, however. There are still managers of stores and restaurants, but they cannot hire anyone, nor fire anyone, without asking getting consent from the Elite, first. This requires submitting an application to them through email.

When they are younger, everyday people will go to school. They will not have jobs until after they are completely finished. They do not have to pay to go to school.
